    1. they're only allowed right in front of the lanes and then with bowling shoes on (there are special racks they can use to roll the ball down, so they can bowl too). William made a couple of attempts to go down a lane, but he was being watched! you're right way to dangerous!

  9. What good fun and an excellent idea to raise funds for such a good cause.

Have a wonderful week, I hope to be able to connect from the desert but I'll be on a very limited internet connection (on good days I should still be able to connect) so I'm not sure if I'll be able to view your posts, but if not I'll sure have tons of catching up to do when I return! lol Take care.

    Cheers. :-)

  10. I'm a terrible bowler, but I love Clearwater, it's my second home. I visit my cousin Gus Stavros (You may know him) and his daughter Ellen at least once a year.

  18. I used to love bowling even though for me it was more a game of gutter ball. Thanks for the comment on drying herbs. You can use a food dehydrator or our oven on the lowest setting to dry herbs. Probably in Florida you don't have many fires, but I put my tray of pre-cut herbs next to the wood stove for a few days and they also dry that way. There's a post on how I used my oven to dry swiss chard. The process would be similar for herbs. http://powellriverbooks.blogspot.com/2010/06/dried-swiss-chard.html

But if you have fresh herbs right on the patio, you won't need to dry many. Most herbs are perennial, so planted in pots they will be attractive and tasty for years.
